An international interior design practice shaping hotels, restaurants and guest rooms — from studios in Kuala Lumpur, Jeddah, Cairo and Manila.
ASID — Anderson Saidon ID Studio — is an international hospitality interior design practice with studios in Kuala Lumpur, Jeddah, Cairo and Manila. We work alongside hoteliers, operators and developers to design four- and five-star hotels, resorts, restaurants and the guest rooms that anchor them.
Our approach pairs creative ambition with the practical discipline hospitality projects demand: programme, budget and operations held in mind from the first sketch. We work as comfortably on a new-build resort as we do on a refurbishment delivered around a live check-in desk.
The Kuala Lumpur studio sits at Pavilion Embassy on Jalan Ampang. The regional studios work in close rotation across the Gulf, North Africa and Southeast Asia.
End-to-end design for four- and five-star hotels and resorts — lobbies, public realm, suites and back-of-house.
From concept to handover. Documentation, FF&E, specification and consultant coordination tied to operator standards.
Restaurants, bars and brasseries. We restyle around an operator's menu, rhythm and guest profile.
The room the guest remembers. Proportion, lighting, storage, and the small details that make a hotel feel considered.
Environmentally considered refurbishment — reusing existing fabric, specifying responsibly, minimising downtime.
Advisory engagements for operators and owners — feasibility, repositioning studies, brand-standard alignment.
Notes on the two moments a hotel room is most closely read, and what they ask of every lux level, finish and switch plate.
A field note on phasing, reuse, and keeping the bar open — lessons from a recent refurbishment across the Gulf.
We take on a small number of new commissions each year. We'd be glad to hear from you.
